Isagi's former teammates who didn't score a single goal openly mock him for being incompetent it shows how others view isagi. What he says is true, if it wasn't for the help of others he wouldn't have scored those goals.

Nagi's ball control technique has some cool names he can both kill and breathe life into the ball. Wonder what will isagi do to dominate the one on one against naruhaya.

You have a point but to be fair Isagi saved his team during all the critical matches via his insane ability to read the field. Also, let's not forget that Isagi didn't just score but assisted as well.

Naruhaya is right to determine himself as a regular Joe however doing the same to Isagi is a big underestimate.

Everything Naruhaya said to Isagi was also directed at him, he knows at that point it was either him or Isagi so the best-case scenario at the moment was to get him worked up enough so that they're both able to go all out.

He literally had no chance to shine because of the plot in first selection, in the first tactic against team Y he lost a chance because Isagi sucks at through pass and in the second tactic there was Kuon's plan to foul him to get Kuon a hattrick goal
